Tværmyr Teltplads

The camp site is well hidden and scenic in Rutsker Højlyng, just up the forest lake Tværmyr. The 70km long hiking route Højlyngsstien across Bornholm goes right past the square.

It costs DKK 15 per person per night to spend the night on the site - and a minimum of DKK 100. per booking/payment.

The site is very primitive and consists of a fairly even lawn that is mowed approx. once a year. It must therefore be expected that the grass is long for parts of the year.

There is access to a water point near the site - the code for the water point is given when booking.

There are no dustbins on the site - and all waste must therefore be taken back from the site.

There is no toilet on the site - and natural remains must therefore be buried. See more on the sign in the square.

The camp site is owned by the Danish Scout Corps, Bornholms Division.

Everything possibly Profits from the square go to scout work for children and young people on Bornholm.
