Tent camp
Hammersholm
The overnight camp is very primitive and is located directly on the forest floor - there are very simple facilities such as a campfire site and a fairly flat forest floor.
The overnight camp is open to everyone, both for overnight stays and for cozying up around the campfire. Use and stay are free.
The camp operates on a first-come, first-served basis. There is room for 2-3 small tents on the camp site. Two nights are allowed on the camp site.
You are welcome to light a campfire on existing campfire sites. You may collect wood for the campfire in the surrounding forest and scrub. Remember to inform yourself about any burning bans. Extinguish the campfire thoroughly after you, so that there are no embers left, or stay until the campfire has burned out completely.
The nearest toilet with water is at the bus and disabled parking lot at Hammershus Visitor Center, about 900 meters away.
There is a water tap on the outer wall of a building at the Hammersholm farm, about 100 meters south of the tent site.
It is not allowed to play loud music or make other noise that disturbs animals and other people.
Take garbage with you when you leave the site.
The site is located along the Højlyngsstien, and is easily accessible for hikers on the path. If you come by car, you can park in the parking lot at Langebjergvej.
