Kalvebod Fælled, Fasanskoven, Lejrplads Sneppen med shelter

The Sneppen is a circular shelter built around a campfire. The camp site is at the northern end of Kalvebod Fælled, close to the Avedøre bridge.

There is a dirt toilet to the east of the shelter. Bring your own toilet paper and possibly hand sanitizer.

The nearest water point is at the Viben camp site at the southern end of the Pinseskoven forest, or at the Nature Center Amager.

The camp site is intended for larger organized groups, for example associations, schools and institutions.

The place can be booked for an overnight stay, but for a maximum of 4 nights. Bookings can be made no earlier than one year before the overnight stay. With a booking, you must use the campsite before 20, otherwise your preferential right will lapse.

If the space is not booked, it can be used during the day on a first-come, first-served basis.

You will typically be able to collect some firewood around the site, but if you want to be sure of dry firewood, you should bring dry firewood or barbecue coal yourself. Spare the living trees. Firewood can possibly be bought in Friluftshuset www.naturcenteramager.dk.

Motoring into the site is not permitted and permission cannot be applied for.

Leave the space as you yourself wish to meet it. Follow the instructions on the information sign at the campsite.
