The primitive accommodation consists of 1 minishelter with a fire pit and a small bench. It is possible to pitch a few smaller tents within 20 meters of the shelter. There is room for 2-3 overnighters in the shelter.

You must bring water and firewood yourself. It is permitted to collect branches on the forest floor for firewood, but no trees may be felled.

The shelter site must be left clean and all rubbish must be taken out of the forest. Remember to put out the fire before leaving the shelter site!

You find the shelter using the GPS points, as there are no markings from the dirt road in the forest.

If you are driving, you can park at a car park at the roundabout, at J. F. Willumsens Vej and Frederikssundsvej. From here there will be a short hike of approx. 500 meters. If you are using public transport, you can take a bus to the stop, Sti til Nordsjællands Hospital - Frederikssund. From here there will be a hike of approx. 700 meters.
