Vandkalven Shelterplads i Tisvilde Hegn

****There is a new, but smaller, shelter on the site with space for 2-3 people.****The site is located by a small lake. There are 2 grills and campfire sites - one on each side of the lake.

You can also pitch a couple of tents on the primitive campsite in the immediate vicinity.

You must bring your own water and firewood. However, it is allowed to collect dead branches from the forest floor, but trees may not be cut down. Remember to take your own garbage and put out the fire before leaving the site.

Please note that the site is close to neighbors, and it is **not allowed** to play music and make noisy behavior.

The shelter must be booked.

**Directions:**

From Frederiksværk drive along Helsingevej towards Helsinge. Drive past Nyvej and the large grocery store. 150 m. from here is Bisp Absalonsvej tv. Here, the castle ruins are kept sharply to the right and continue 350 m to the site, which is located in a disused gravel pit.
