Vipstjerten shelter

The Vipstjerten shelter is located in Gribskov Vest in Strøgårdsvang. The shelter is located in an old gravel pit, in a quiet and peaceful area. There is room for two people, maybe three if you live close together. The shelter is next to a nice marsh and has a nice view. Rich in wildlife and nature. There is a fire pit and a small bench.

Since there is no marking from the local forest road to the shelter itself, you have to find it using the GPS points.

If you are driving, you can park in one of the many parking lots along Helsingevej, between Tibberup and Gadevang, from where there will be a hike of between 1.5 and 4 kilometers.

If you are using public transport, you must take bus 363 and get off at Kagerup (gribskovvej), from where it is a walk of approx. 2 kilometers.
