Trompethatten shelter

The primitive accommodation consists of 1 minishelter with a fire pit and a small bench. It is possible to pitch a few smaller tents within 20 meters of the shelter. There is room for 2-3 overnighters in the shelter.

You must bring water and firewood yourself. It is permitted to collect branches on the forest floor for firewood, but no trees may be felled.

The shelter site must be left clean and all rubbish must be taken out of the forest. Remember to put out the fire before leaving the shelter site!

If you are driving, you can park at one of the forest parking spaces along Gillelejevej, between Esbønderup Kohave and Nødebo, from where there will be a hike of between 2 and 4 kilometers.

If you take public transport, you must take bus 307 and get off at the stop Nødebo Skovskole (Nødebovej), from where there will be a hike of between 4 and 6 kilometres.
