The primitive accommodation consists of 1 minishelter with a fire pit and a small bench. It is possible to pitch a few smaller tents within 20 meters of the shelter. There is room for 2-3 overnighters in the shelter.

You must bring water and firewood yourself. It is permitted to collect branches on the forest floor for firewood, but no trees may be felled.

The shelter site must be left clean and all rubbish must be taken out of the forest. Remember to put out the fire before leaving the shelter!

You find the shelter using the GPS points, as there are no markings from the dirt road in the forest.

If you are using public transport, you can take the train or a bus to Tisvildeleje station, from where it is a walk of approx. 3 kilometers. If you are driving, you can park at Asserbo Slotsruin, from where it is a walk of approx. 3 kilometers.
