Shelter, Blå Port

The shelter is located approx. 50 m from the lake shore, at the north end of Esrum lake. There is space for approx. 25 people staying overnight. It is permitted to set up a few smaller tents. It's about. 1 km to the shelter from the car park at Frederiksværkvej. You may walk or cycle to the site, but not drive a car, moped or other motor in the forest to the shelter site. You must bring water and firewood yourself. It is allowed to collect branches on the forest floor for firewood, but you cannot be sure that there is anything nearby. Take good care of the shelter site and the fire pit so that others can also enjoy the site and take all rubbish out of the forest. Extinguish the fire before leaving the shelter site. There is a primitive mud toilet close to the square.
