**The shelter must be booked**The site consists of a smaller shelter and a campfire site with a bench.

It is permitted to pitch a single tent (max. 3 people) in the immediate vicinity of the shelter, max. 10 meters away.

You must bring your own water and firewood. However, it is permitted to collect dead branches from the forest floor, but trees may not be cut down.

Remember to take your own trash and put out the fire before leaving the site.

**Find your way by car**:

The parking lot on Frederiksværksvej is located approximately 1.2 km north of the shelter.

Cars are not allowed in the forest, but the forest roads are suitable for bicycles and pedestrians.

**Find your way by public transport**:

You can get off the bus in Esbønderup at the Tingbakken stop and walk approximately 2 km, through the forest and along the lake, to the shelter. You can also get off the bus at the Forestry School in Nødebo and walk along Esrum lake. A trip of approximately 5 km.
