The cuckoo shelter is located in the southern Teglstrup fence, close to Helsingør. There is room for 2 people, maybe 3 if you live close together. There is a small fire pit and a bench. The shelter is close to some tall beech trees, so it is shady, and there is a really good view from inside the shelter itself, down over a small lake.

You find the shelter using the GPS points, as there are no markings from the dirt road in the forest.

You can get to the shelter via one of the many forest parking spaces in the area, the nearest one is on Esrumvej approximately 1 kilometer from the shelter. You can also get there via public transport and get off at one of the bus stops on Esrumvej or Klostermosevej, and there will be a 1 to 2 kilometer walk to the shelter.
