The campsite is intended for larger organized groups, such as associations, schools and institutions. The site can be booked for overnight stays by groups of at least 15 people. The campsite can be booked for a maximum of 4 nights.

Bookings can be made at the earliest one year before the overnight stay.

If the site is not booked, it can be used on a first-come, first-served basis.

There are shelters with campfire sites, tables and benches with space for 25-30 people.

It is also possible to have horses staying overnight in the paddock adjacent to the campsite.

You will typically be able to collect some firewood around the site, but if you want to be sure of dry firewood, you should bring it yourself.

There is a primitive toilet on the site. Bring your own toilet paper and possibly wet wipes.

Bring firewood or small sawdust for firewood collected in the forest floor. However, fresh trees may not be cut down.

It is possible to fish in the nearby lake. Remember to bring a fishing license for people over 18 years of age.

There are no trash cans, so remember to bring garbage bags to take your own trash home.

There is no water main on site.

It is possible to park at Hørsholm Kongevej (55.84585, 12.48182) **NOTE that Hørsholm Kongevej is closed to traffic until well into 2026, expected to the end of August. See Rudersdal Municipality's website for more information. Parking is directed to the parking lot on Sophie Magdelenes Vej during this period. It is not permitted to drive into the forest.**
