Shelter
Rørhøgen shelter
The primitive overnight camp is located at the edge of the forest in Sonnerup Skov with a view of Arresø. It consists of 1 mini-shelter with a campfire and two small benches. It is possible to pitch a couple of smaller tents within 20 meters of the shelter. There is room for 2-3 people to stay overnight in the shelter.
The shelter site is located along the Halsninoen hiking trail, which stretches from Hundested to Strø Bjerge.
You must bring your own water and firewood. It is allowed to collect branches from the forest floor for firewood, but trees must not be cut down.
The shelter site must be left tidy, and all waste must be taken out of the forest. Remember to put out the fire before you leave the shelter site!
You can find the shelter with these GPS coordinates: 55.951954, 12.06151
