Engblommen og Firlingen Sheltere

The primitive accommodation consists of 2 minishelters with a fire pit and a small bench. It is possible to pitch a few smaller tents within 20 meters of the shelter. There is room for 2-3 overnighters per shelter.

In this place, there is also a table bench set and a fire, with a view over the forest.

You must bring water and firewood yourself. It is permitted to collect branches on the forest floor for firewood, but no trees may be felled.

The shelter site must be left clean and all rubbish must be taken out of the forest. Remember to put out the fire before leaving the shelter!

If you come by car, you must park at the car park at the Forest Playground at Kratvej 2, 3550 Slangerup. From here there is a hike of approx. 1-2 kilometers.

With public transport, take bus 337 to the bus stop called Lystrup Skov (Lystrupvej), from which approx. is a hike of 1-2 kilometers.
