Skarven shelter

Idyllically situated shelter (named Skarven) with associated fire pit on the shore of Lake Esrum with a view of the lake's bird sanctuary.

Good swimming opportunities, and the possibility to add a canoe/kayak/SUP.

You may spend a maximum of two nights on the pitch. The shelter can easily accommodate two adults.

There is also space on the site to pitch your tent, and there are a total of 3 fire pits and 2 sets of table benches.

You must bring your own water and firewood. However, branches may be collected on the forest floor, but trees may not be felled.

Remember to put out the fire before you leave the campsite, and take your rubbish with you #ournatureourresponsibility

**Find your way by car**

You can park in a small car park on Nødebovej opposite Jægervænget, approx. 1km from the square. The road acts as a fire road, so remember not to park in front of the chain barrier.

**Find your way with Public Transport**

Bus 307 from Hillerød stops at Jægervænget on Nødebovej approx. 1km from the square.
