Rude Skov, Shelters Store Stubbesø

<span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(2, 89, 77);">Choose this site if you are a group that needs 2 shelters, i.e. you are a group of 10-12 people. Others are also entitled to use a possibly empty shelter or pitch a tent on the site.</span>

There is a campfire site with a grill and a table and bench set by the shelters.

Bring bags to collect your own waste, toilet paper and wet wipes.

Leave the site cleaned as you wish to find it.

It is permitted to collect small wood for firewood, but if you want to be sure of something that is dry, you should bring your own firewood or charcoal.

It may be a good idea to bring a small saw and a small splitting axe as well as firelighters. Never saw into living trees!

You are welcome to set up a few smaller (2-3 pers.) tents on the site, if there are more of you.

Please follow the instructions on the information sign on the site.

**Advance booking:** You can book priority for overnight stays in the shelters. The two shelters are booked together.

You can only stay two nights in a row in the shelters.

You only book the shelters. Others can also use the facilities and pitch a tent on the site and share a campfire.

Bookings can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay.

When booking, you must use the shelters before 8 p.m., otherwise your priority will lapse.

**Access conditions:** Parking spaces can be found along Hørsholm Kongevej. **NOTE that Hørsholm Kongevej is closed to traffic for two periods 16/6 - 17/12 2025 and 7/4 - 31/8 2026. Parking is directed to the parking lot on Sophie Magdelenes Vej during these periods. It is not permitted to drive into the forest.**
