Shelter
Kalvebod Fælled, Pinseskoven, shelter ved Hejresøen
In addition to the shelter, there is a campfire site with a grill and a table for cooking.
There is a primitive toilet in connection with a nearby campsite, but no waste container.
Bring plastic bags to take home your own waste, toilet paper and wet wipes. Leave the site as you wish to find it.
It is permitted to collect small dry wood from the forest floor for use in the campfire ring. For this, it is a good idea to bring a small saw and a small hatchet and firewood. Never saw in living trees. Alternatively, bring charcoal for grilling.
You can set up a few additional tents at the shelter.
Please follow the instructions on the information sign at the campsite.
Advance booking: You can book priority accommodation in the shelter.
You can only stay two nights in a row in the shelter.
You only book the shelter. Others can use the facilities and pitch a tent on the site at the same time.
Bookings can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay.
When booking, you must use the shelter before 8 p.m., otherwise your priority right will lapse.
Access conditions: Parking space outside the entrance at Frieslandsvej. Motorized vehicles are not allowed to enter the site and no permit can be applied for. Hiking there is part of the sport. If necessary, use a tow truck or similar for packing.
The shelter was built with support from the A.P. Møller Foundation.
