Vestskoven, lejrplads med shelter ved Tusculanum

The shelter has space for approx. 24 people. There is a barbecue area and a primitive toilet without water. The site is located high, sheltered and with a view of fields, Porsemosen and Ledøje village.

The campsite is named after Ole Rømer's land observatory, Tusculanum, which can be seen marked right next to the campsite.

The campsite is intended for larger organized groups, such as associations, schools and institutions.

The site can be booked for overnight stays, but for a maximum of 4 nights. Bookings can be made no earlier than one year before the overnight stay. With a booking, you must use the campsite before 8 p.m., otherwise your priority will lapse.

If the site is not booked, it can be used during the day on a first-come, first-served basis.

You will typically be able to collect some firewood around the site, but if you want to be sure of dry firewood, you should bring your own dry firewood or charcoal. Be careful of the living trees.

Motorized driving into the site is not permitted and no permit can be applied for.

Leave the site as you wish to find it. Follow the instructions on the information sign at the campsite.
