Shelter i Mollerup Skov

The shelter site is located in a clearing in Mollerup Forest. In front of the shelter is the associated campfire site. Next to the shelter is a nature playground.

Mollerup Forest invites you to experience the outdoors with its large, open grasslands surrounded by beech and oak. The forest near the city was planted on agricultural land in the 1990s and is close to Mollerup Golf Course. The forest is marked with two running or walking routes and is very popular with exercisers. Scottish Highland cows graze in the open areas and smaller play installations are located scattered throughout the forest.

In the fenced dog forest at Langengevej you can take your dog for a run. From the forest there is a path connection to Terp and Lisbjerg (over Mollerup golf course) and to Egå Engsø.

**Practical information**:

• When you book the shelter, you have automatically booked the associated campfire site.

• You must bring your own firewood from home.

• You are welcome to collect dry branches in the forest floor.

• There are no water or toilet facilities at the shelter.

• There is a waste rack at the shelter.

**Route directions**:

It is possible to park at the entrance to Mollerup Skov at Langengevej 133. From the parking lot, follow the gravel road for approx. 80 meters past the dog forest. Here a path goes north (right) between a paddock and a rainwater basin. After approx. 200 meters the path meets a forest road - here you turn left. After approx. 100 meters you will come to a nature playground on the left, where the shelter is located behind the playground.

There is parking available with entrances from Skejbyvej and Skejby Nordlandsvej, respectively.
