Hjemstavnshuset has a lovely rest area on a plot down to Rind Å.

The rest area is inviting with a campfire, tables and benches, tiled walkways and a stocked woodshed for free use by canoeists and visitors to Hjemstavnshuset.

There is also a cozy shelter with space for 3 people and a toilet in the small outbuilding off the east gable of the Hjemstavnshuset.

There is free fishing in Rind Å from the rest area plot.
