2 small shelters surrounded by forest on the edge of Ring Skov and Brædstrup Activity Park with Tarzan track and playground. There can be approx. 4 people in each shelter. There is a parking space with space for 5 cars at the entrance to the activity park on Skovvejen, and in the summer half-year there is access to a public toilet in the northeastern corner of the city park.

Shelter site close to the city but beautifully situated, from where you can walk straight into Ring Skov with beautiful paths on alternating forest stretches, which contain both large fir trees and flowering wetlands. Rumor has it that a large troll lives here in the forest - see if you can find the troll!

Shelters can be booked at bit.ly/bookhorsens. If you have booked a shelter, you have 1st priority during the booking period, but others are welcome to use it until you arrive.

Facilities:

• Accommodation for up to 8 people, 4 in each shelter

• Maximum 3 nights in a row.

• 100m to the campfire site – bring your own firewood, twigs and smaller branches may be collected

• 100m to the public toilet in the northeastern corner of the city park (NB: only open in the summer months)

• 90m to the packed lunch house, playground and Tarzan track as well as the barbecue directly south

• Leave the site clean and tidy - take all rubbish with you
