Nyholm - Arla Øko Shelter

**Welcome to Arla® ORGANIC Shelters**

This shelter site, located at Nyholm, is located in beautiful nature in the Brande area.

Nyholm is an old family farm with a history dating back to 1866. Nyholm is owned by Flemming, who was born and raised on the farm and has run the farm since 1995. For the last 18 years, Nyholm has been run organically and the herd consists of 160 organic dairy cows, heifers and calves, all of which graze on grass all summer. Nyholm also operates 285 hectares of land and 75 hectares of forest and nature area. Grass, rye, barley, wheat and oats are grown on the fields, which are mainly used as feed for the cows.

Brande is a town in Central Jutland with 7,521 inhabitants, located 12 km southwest of Ejstrupholm, 14 km northwest of Give, 26 km south of Herning and 26 km south of Ikast. The town belongs to Ikast-Brande Municipality and is located in the Central Denmark Region.

The Arla® ECO shelter site is fully equipped with shelter, benches and a campfire. All you need to bring is your sleeping bag, firewood and a curiosity about nature.

There is a parking lot near the Arla® ECO shelter, and from here the field leads to the shelter. From the parking lot it is approximately 40 meters through a slightly hilly landscape.

**Drinking water: No.**

**Toilet: No, the nearest toilet is 3 km (Brande Church) and otherwise there is toilet access 12 km away at Hastrup Plantage.**

**Tables & benches: Yes, there is room for 4 people.**

**Bonfire place: Yes, but you must bring your own firewood.**

**Tents: No, setting up tents is not allowed.**

**Rules for using the shelter site:**

Remember to put out the fire.

Use the trash can.

Keep the shelter site neat and clean.

Avoid unnecessary noise and din.

No music may be played.

Animals are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash.

The animals may not be fed or frightened.

Important: <span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">You must not have been abroad within the last 48 hours before visiting a farm, as you can bring animal diseases to Denmark.</span>
