Hadbjerg Skov Shelterplads

The shelter site contains 3 shelters with a campfire site, with space for a total of 9 guests. Located centrally in the forest on a hill overlooking fields and the surrounding landscape. Bring your own water and firewood. There is no toilet and it cannot be booked. NB. The shelters are unusually short and narrow, providing poor shelter in bad weather! It is better to choose another place in case of rain and wind, or go for a tent. Access is also quite steep in clay soil...

Hadbjerg forest is a forest with a fruit grove, lunch box house, lake, stream, deciduous forest, shelters, and dog forest. The forest is 50,000 m² and contains more than 30,000 trees. Erected in collaboration with Hadbjerg citizens' association, Favrskov Municipality and Growing Trees Network. We help to secure groundwater, bind CO2 and give animals and people better living conditions in Hadbjerg. Access to the new forest is via a path from Smedebakken or Højvangsvej in Hadbjerg. Parking is available at the end of Højvangsvej.
