Koutrup Skov Shelter 2

Shelter site with 2 shelters, located 200 m south of Nature Center Koutrupgård up Koutrup Skov. The site is equipped with a fire pit and barbecue for each shelter. Access to faucet. If you want to be sure of dry wood, you must bring your own, but it is otherwise permitted to collect wood from the forest floor for use on the campfire.

There is access to public toilets at Koutrupgård (entrance on the east side). Furthermore, space for setting up a smaller horse paddock.

Shelter 2 can be booked directly via the "Book here" button or via the Nature Agency's booking system. Please note that your booking will be canceled if you have not arrived at the site by 8 p.m.

If no one has booked the place, it is however available to anyone who wants to settle down for a short or long time - perhaps just for a short break around the fire or for an overnight stay.

The shelter site is 200 m from Hærvejen, 1 km from Gudenåens and Skjernåens sources and 2 km from Rørbæk Lake and Tinnet Krat.
