The plantation is 50 hectares. There is both heath and meadow in the plantation, and access to free fishing in Sunds Nørreå. The shelter site is located in an open area in the middle of the plantation. The site is ideal for riding, as there is a fenced area adjacent to the site where the horses can graze.

A campfire site and toilet are available.
