The site has 2 shelters, a large campfire site, a toilet and space for tents. Here there is peace and idyll by Horsens Fjord with flowers and grazing cattle on the salt meadows. The site is sheltered from the landward side by an old apple orchard and sheltered by small trees. It is less than 100 meters to the beach, where there is excellent bathing water quality, very shallow water - good for children - here you can swim, wade and catch beach crabs at sunset. Good place to see birds during the day; waders, cormorants and the pair of white-tailed eagles that breed on the protected island of Vorsø, which you can look over. Good place to see stars at night, if it is clear, as there is low light pollution and a view of the sky. Maybe you hear the owl…

Facilities:

• Accommodation for up to 12 people (6 in each shelter) possibly tents

• A maximum of 2 nights in a row may be spent on the site
