The project is based on an idea from Børnehuset Ønskelandet (ØL), a privately run nursery/kindergarten with up to 60 children. ØL took over one of the city's oldest houses, an old parsonage, and has created a framework for good day care. ØL also includes a huge nature area, with a playground, chickens, rabbits (more animals are on the way), ropeway, multitrack, etc. ØL has opened up that the city - the northern parish in Ikast - is welcome to use the area. Regardless of whether you have children there or not. Spring onions are picked, animals are visited,

and play. There is established access to the toilet outside opening hours. With the project, we and ØL want to create a framework for a good outdoor life by utilizing an unused area in extension of/connection to ØL, It is located on the edge of Ikast, a few meters from a nature area with Storå, lakes, wetlands, large meadows. We want to create nature experiences and positive togetherness for families in the northern parish - and this must be done by upgrading it

unused area with shelters (possibility of free accommodation), fire pit and cooking. This creates the framework for positive interaction between children and adults - not least

for those families who do not have the opportunity to go on holiday. It also provides an opportunity to enter into a dialogue with a group of young people in the area who are rootless and without associations and lack a gathering place. ØL will be able to put some of its educational resources into the project, which can thus help families in their work to create children who can master nature, community and life. It is intended to enter into cooperation with the neighbours, Ikast FDF and

BMX Club Ikast. The project will be financially independent from ØL, but will be able to benefit from the educational experience you have with children and families with children.

The place must create a greater degree of community and cohesion among the families in the North Parish and teach children and young people how to 1) spend the night in nature, 2) cook on a fire, 3) explore the area's biodiversity.

The project will be a significant improvement in access to the beautiful nature in the area.
