Møborg shelterplads

Nice large space with 2 shelters, a large fire house, a grill, 10 tables/bench sets and play equipment for the little ones. In addition, there is electricity, water and a toilet.

The site is located on a former sports field and therefore invites games and play and, of course, pleasant gatherings for both large and small groups. The area is level and is therefore also suitable for people with walking difficulties.

5 km from Møborg is Bækmarksbro town with shopping, train and sports centre.

The site has been established by voluntary labour, and we ask you to treat the site with respect and to take into account the tranquility of the night after 23:00.

There is also a good opportunity for a hike on marked trails in scenic surroundings around Møborg Bakkeø, which has been designated as a geosite in Geopark West Jutland.

Starting at the Bavnehøj in Møborg or the parking lot east of the sand pit, Spor i Landskabet has marked a walking route where you can experience the landscape on and around Møborg Bakkeø, the special nature of the oak thicket and get a look into the geological layers from different ice ages. The burial mounds and the church tell of how people from ancient times settled in the area.

Bakkeøen is designated as a "Geosite" in Geopark West Jutland.
