The water mill is located on the raised seabed close to the marginal moraine Toftum Bjerge and a protected oak thicket that dates back more than 200 years. The mill has been restored several times and is today run by volunteers. Aa-Mølle was in operation until 14 February 1953. The water supply from Fald Å was interrupted in 1954 due to the straightening of the stream in favor of further drainage of meadow areas, and the mill finally stopped.

You are always welcome to enter the mill to get a feel for how the mill works. If you would like to see the mill in operation, it is open for that during the period 3rd Sunday in June up to and including the 1st weekend in September, Saturdays and Sundays from 14:00 to 16:00.

If you arrive in a motorhome, you are also very welcome to spend the night on the designated pitch.
