Udsigtsshelter ved Albæk

The shelter is located on a small hilltop on the edge of the village of Albæk.

The site is surrounded by a cozy shelter belt of trees and has beautiful views of fields and the fjord, as well as easy access to [Randers Fjord Stien](https://www.randers.dk/oplev/besoeg-naturen/naturture/randers-fjord-stien/).

The shelter itself has an internal diameter of 4 meters, which provides plenty of space for both a large family with children or a group of friends.

There is parking at Klyngehuset Kronjylland or at the parking lot a little further along Nedre Vej on the site below the shelter.

The shelter cannot be booked, as it is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The shelter is not accessible to the disabled

There is a campfire at the site. You are very welcome to light it up – but remember to bring your own firewood.

Always remember to take your trash home with you when you leave the site. Nature and the next guest are not happy about it.

Just a stone's throw from the site you will find Albæk's new gathering place, [Klyngehuset Kronjylland](https://www.naturparkrandersfjord.dk/oplev/aktiviteter-for-boern-og-voksne/klyngehuset-kronjylland/), which is also the inspiration for the round shelter's architecture.

In the Klyngehuset you are free to use the site's toilet facilities and shower.

The shelter site is located in [Naturpark Randers Fjord](https://www.naturparkrandersfjord.dk/) and has been realized as part of the area renewal in Albæk in collaboration between local volunteers, LAG Randers - Favrskov and Randers Municipality.
