Tent camp
Lille lejrplads Kalø Vig
The tent site is less than 10 meters from the water's edge in Kalø Vig. Here it is possible to go ashore from the water side. The site is on the salt meadow without any facilities. You are welcome to spend the night in a tent, tarp etc. The space cannot be booked and can be used on a "first come, first served" basis. You are welcome to stay 2 nights in a row. You are welcome to cook over a fire on the campfire site, which is a few hundred meters away closer to the forest at another tent site that can be booked for groups. There are approx. 900 meters to water and pull/drop toilets at the parking lot for Kalø Slotskro. At P Pladsen, sausages and ice cream are sold during the tourist season. Here you can lie down and enjoy birdsong and the sound of the water at the water's edge. Or enjoy the view of Kalø Slotsruin. You may also be lucky enough to see seals lying and sunbathing on the large rocks around the small island on which the ruin is located.
