Shelter
De Små Fisk
Municipal tent site in a nature reserve directly down to Brassø with access from the water.
The site is located south of the road from Silkeborg to Sejs, immediately before Sejs, approx. 3 km from Silkeborg.
Accommodation options:
De Små Fisk can only be used as a day campsite, which means that as a general rule, overnight stays are not allowed on the site. However, it is possible to stay overnight primitively at De Små Fisk – in a tent on the tent site or in a shelter if you come to the site from the sea side in a canoe or kayak, or if you are hiking on the Himmelbjerg route. The two shelters closest to Brassø are reserved for canoeists and kayakers. The four shelters furthest from Brassø can also be used by the public on the Himmelbjerg route.
It is not possible to book shelters or tent sites, so it is on a first-come, first-served basis. The exception to this is the handicap shelters, which can be booked by people with mobility impairments. You are only allowed to stay one night on the site before moving on.
Access to facilities:
The shelter closest to the toilet building is equipped with, among other things, a passenger lift, a pull-out bed and a traverse lift. Individuals or groups of people with mobility impairments have priority access to this shelter.
