The site is located in a beautiful natural area by Skive/Karup Å. The shelter has a large floor area of approx. 6x3 meters. However, there is only a small opening in the middle of the front. There is access to the stream from the site - the rules for fishing can be found at skive.dk/fiskeri. At the site there is a dry toilet, horse troughs, 2 campfire sites and several table and bench sets. Behind the shelter is a beautiful heath, and there is a marked path connection that leads the pedestrian/rider from Skive-Karup Å, via Skive Plantage, all the way up to Skive or to Flyndersø, if you cross the stream to the west.
