Come out and experience how a new forest makes room for everyday adventures. In Tranbjerg Skov, a shelter site was built in the winter of 2020 near a small lake that also functions as a rainwater basin.

Aarhus Municipality wanted to provide the opportunity to experience how the water level changes over the season. The location has therefore been carefully selected. For the same reason, there are two campfire sites at the shelter site - one between the two shelter units, which is always dry, and one campfire site out in front of the shelter units, which can be flooded during wet periods.

**Practical information**:

• If you have booked the shelters, you have automatically booked the associated campfire site.

• You must bring your own firewood from home.

• You are welcome to collect dry branches from the forest floor.

• Remember to put out the fire before you leave the site

• You must take your own waste home, so remember to bring garbage bags.

• There is no water or toilet near the site.
