Bryrupbanen, Vrads Station, shelter 2

The site with a view of Vrads station consists of three shelters, two larger ones with space for about 6 people each and one small one with space for about 3 people.

There is a tap, trash cans, a fire pit, a table and bench set and a campfire on the site. The site is well shielded by conifers.

Shopping: Vrads (approx. 2 km) has a smaller selection of goods. Otherwise, Bryrup is approx. 4 km away.

There is wood that can be used as firewood on the site, but bring your own saw or axe.

The site is designed as an overnight accommodation option for hikers and cyclists on the Bryrupbanestien. The Bryrupbanestien is a combined bike-hiking-riding trail that is asphalted in half its width. The trail is built where the old railway between Horsens and Silkeborg used to run.

Toilets and water are closed in winter.

The shelter was built with support from the A.P. Møller Foundation.
