Hjørnegårdens shelterplads – på kanten af Svanninge Bakker

Welcome to Hjørnegården's shelter place

The shelter site is idyllically located in the open countryside, approx. 500 meters from the Øhavsstien. From here there is approx. 16 km. to Faldsled, 10 km. to Faaborg and 17 km. to Fjellebroen.

The Kløverstien Svanninge, black route, goes right past the shelter square.

Riding route Sydfyn goes approx. 1 km. from Hjørnegården.

Here at Hjørnegården lives the Mølgaard Christensen family, consisting of mother Helle, father Søren and 3 sweet children Karla, Peter and Sofie. A flock of sheep and lambs also live here, as well as Misser, our big, very cuddly male cat.

We ourselves really like sleeping in the shelter and having a bonfire at the campfire, and hope to be able to give you a nice experience at Hjørnegaarden, and a quiet night in our nice shelter.

The shelter site consists of:

- a shelter with space for approx. 6 people - fire pit - benches - table bench set - work table

From the shelter there is a view over the field to the south. Here our sheep walk and graze, but don't worry the shelter site is fenced off so they don't enter the site). They are curious and want to cuddle, but please do not feed them, as they risk getting sick.

- Firewood: Bring your own firewood, or buy it from us for DKK 25. - Toilet: Please use our toilet, which is located in the utility room in the farmhouse, which is open from 6-22. - Waste: Sort your waste and use our waste containers, which are by the road. - Water: Water can be tapped at the tap on the terrace. - Horse: Horses are very welcome, but contact us beforehand so that we can agree more about fencing a section of the field. - Dog: You are welcome to bring the dog with you if it is on a leash and you remember to pick up after it...

Help us keep the shelter clean and tidy - i.e. no footwear in the shelter!
