The shelter can accommodate a maximum of 3 people and can be used for a maximum of 2 nights.

There are toilets and water at the harbor on Kalvø (approx. 500 m). Firewood can be collected from the forest floor in the forest.

The shelter was built with support from the A.P. Møller Foundation.
