Solpletten

Solpletten

Solpletten is an open, organic garden by the Hadsundbanen cycle path in the field behind the old Solbjerg Sawmill (Bøgevej 13, 9574 Bælum). The garden contains sculptures, a labyrinth, fruit trees and berry bushes, and all fruits and berries are free to eat by both humans and animals.

Picnics, bonfires and overnight stays in tents are possible. Pitching a tent is free, but requires prior agreement with Synnøve by texting 4058 3320. There is a multi-purpose toilet on site. Cars are not allowed - access is via the cycle path.

The garden is cultivated organically with a focus on recycled materials. Part of the area is a wild field with tall grass and a style labyrinth for the enjoyment of both humans and wildlife. New creative projects are added every summer.

Solpletten was started in 2017 and is privately funded, created with the help of neighbors and volunteers from all over the world.
