Nybæk Plantage - overnatningsplads med sheltere

2 small 4-person shelters are located just east of the packed lunch house in Nybæk Plantage. You cannot pitch a tent at the shelters because the terrain is very uneven, but you can certainly sleep well. The shelters cannot be booked, so use is "first come, first served" - join together so there is room for more people. You can stay a maximum of 2 nights at the same site.

Fires are not allowed at the shelters - use the fire pit at the packed lunch house. There is often firewood here and you are welcome to collect dry branches from the forest floor. There is also drinking water (in the summer months) and a compost toilet at the packed lunch house. You are welcome to use a storm kitchen or similar at the shelters if it is stable and fireproof - for example on a small plate you bring. Keep the site neat and clean and always take your waste with you.

The local hiking route "Mortens Sti" (blue) passes right by.

Parking is available at the parking lot at Løkkensvej, approximately 250 meters away.

The place is run by local forces in Løkken.
