Tornby Klitplantage - Lejrpladsen

The campsite is located in Tornby Klitplantage next to the forest road Plantørvej, adjacent to the Vestkystruten (National cycle route no. 1) and the Nordsøstien. At the campsite you can stay overnight in shelters or tents, cook over a campfire and do other activities. The site can only be booked by groups such as school classes or scout groups. When the site is not booked, it can be used on a "first come, first served" basis. Move together so that there is room for more people. The site has tables/benches and a campfire with a grill. We strive to have firewood, but this cannot be guaranteed. Use the firewood carefully so that there is also enough for the next guests. You are also welcome to collect dry branches in the forest floor for a campfire. Remember to put out the campfire thoroughly after you are done. At the site (a little closer to the forest road) there is a toilet building with a toilet and in the summer hand basins and a drinking water tap. Keep the site tidy. There is no trash can, so always take your trash with you. The nearest parking lot is on Russerbakkevej, about 400 meters north of the site. You are NOT allowed to drive into the site by car.
