Shelter near Amagervej

Lovely bright spot at the east end of Elling Plantage. There are two shelters with room for about 4 in each. In addition, a large fire pit with barbecue space both inside and outside. There is water and a toilet on the site. Elling å runs right next to it and here is nice shelter from wind and weather. The East Coast Route (cycle route 5) and the local Green Tour (cycle route 707) pass by on Mariendalsvej. Find your way to the shelter by following the marked route into the forest approx. 400 from the parking lot. The Nordvendsyssel riding route goes through Elling Plantage and can also use the square. The shelter cannot be booked, but it is ok to set up a small tent. There is a dirt toilet and water tap at the site.

The site is reserved for pedestrians, cyclists and horse-riders, and you may stay a maximum of two nights.
