Sdr. Nyland - tangtag shelter på lille teltplads

In collaboration with the tangtag group on Læsø and with support from the Outdoor Activities Council, a shelter - constructed as a traditional tang roof - has been erected on the small tent site on the road towards Sdr. Newland. The site is intended for overnight stays for people on cycle trips, hikes, horse-riding trips - and is well located if you e.g. is on the way around Læsø. There is no parking space, but you can park in the parking space at Sdr. Nyland and walk the approx. 750 meters left. You may stay a maximum of 2 nights on the site. It cannot be booked, so move together so there is room for more people. In addition to the shelter, there must be 2 small tents right around the shelter (not scattered throughout the vegetation).

A little behind the shelter there is a dirt toilet and by the dirt road down to the water there is a drinking water tap which is open during the summer.

Fires may NOT be lit on the site, but there is a concrete cover where you can put your cooking flame. There is no trash can, so take your trash with you. Help in general to keep the place nice and clean.
