Sheltere Professorens plantage

Here you can get fantastic sunrises directly from the sleeping bag. The shelter is at a height of 3 meters and has a view to the east over the dune and the sea. You will find a fire pit with a grill grate at the shelter and a toilet and water (closed in winter) in the parking lot. If you're lucky, there's firewood on the site, otherwise you're welcome to collect on the forest floor. There are nice walks in the area with a gravel path or a trip to the beach. In dry periods, it is extra important to be careful with fires in this area. Always make a fire in the firebox and do not walk away from a lit fire. You are welcome to set up a hammock between the trees next to the square. The shelter cannot be booked, but it is ok to set up a small tent. ***The toilet/water is open from Easter to and including week 42.*** There is, however, access to the multi-purpose toilet during the winter.

Since 2022, there are 2 new smaller shelters on the site.

The shelters are reserved for pedestrians and cyclists and you may stay a maximum of 2 nights.
