Skillingbro

The three shelters, together with Skillingbro nature school, are part of the Rebildcentret with Thingbæk Limestone Mines, www.rebildcentret.dk, which is located 700 from the shelters. REGAN Vest is also less than 1 km from the shelters.

There is a toilet and shower 100 m from the shelters (not in the nature school) and there is a campfire site right by the shelters.

There is a fantastic nature area with many trails, including the Gravlev Ådalruten (11 km), which also includes the Skillingbro Undervejsbro Bridge, and also the Rebildbakker route. Both are certified hiking trails.

The three identical shelters are called Fiskehejren, Isfuglen and Vandstæren. The floor width is 4.1 m - so 5 people can easily sleep in each shelter.

In the first year, use was free, but from June 1, 2026 it costs 100 kr / shelter per night. Please pay on MobilePay 923092 no later than upon arrival.
