Shelter near Gammel Landevej

The site is located in an older light-open pine forest close to the Hulsigstien, which is part of the West Coast Route (national cycle route no. 1). There are two shelters with space for approx. 6 people in each, drinking water point (open in summer), table-bench set and a fire pit with grill. There is no firewood, but you are welcome to collect dry wood on the forest floor. Help keep the site neat and clean and take your rubbish with you. The place cannot be booked. Move together so there is room for everyone. Tents may be pitched in the forest floor right around the shelters. You cannot enter the site by car. The nearest parking is the parking lot for Sandmilen on Frederikshavnsvej. Walk towards the Sandmile and turn left along the intersecting paved forest road (Vestkyrouten/Hulsigstien). After 700 m. the site is on the right. Look for the tent site sign.
