Stort Shelter - Lodbjerg Fyr

The shelter site is located north of Lodbjerg Lighthouse.

The site can be accessed on foot or by bicycle. The shelter is located 100 m from the parking lot at the lighthouse.

**Facilities at the site:** Campsite with barbecue grill, waste rack, horse pen, compost toilet and normal toilet at the lighthouse, open all year round. Water can be obtained from a water tap at the lighthouse and is available all year round.

**Campsite:**

**Large group shelter,** with space for **25 people** and associated campfire site. It is possible to pitch tents on the site. There is space for approx. 5 tents spread across the site.

There are **2 additional shelters** with campfire sites located behind the large group shelter. **A handicap-accessible shelter with lift** and a normal 4-person shelter. (See more info about this, under the shelter icon)

The campsite can be booked by larger groups, >15 people, in connection with special types of events, such as school, sports or scout events. The site can be booked 12 months in advance. The processing time for the booking is about 10 weekdays.

The booking gives priority to the campsite, which includes the large shelter and the associated campfire site. Individuals can use the campsite if it is not booked. If the booking is not used before 8 p.m., the campsite can be freely used on a "first come, first served" basis.

The campsite has been created in collaboration with Thy National Park.
