**Site address:** Eshøjvej 2, 7700 Thisted. Eshøj Forest is a special forest with many special tree species and with fine flora. The forest lies all the way to the Limfjorden. The shelter site is located next to the beach with a view of the fjord, but is set back in the forest to ensure shelter. It was established in the spring of 2011. There is a large fire pit close to the two shelters and it is possible to park close to the shelter site. It is obvious to use the shelter site for kayak trips over several days, as there are several primitive overnight sites out to the fjord, e.g. on Mors and at Vildsund. There are 25 meters to the beach, which has large stones. Best time for telephone contact between 8 and 15. Shopping: 3.5 km. - Eshøj forest lies east of Thisted town all the way to the fjord.
