Læsø Klitplantage - Birkelunden lejrplads

The camp site is right next to Plantagevej. There is a small gravel lot with the possibility of loading and unloading by the road. The campsite has 3 shelters with space for approx. 8 people in each. It is permitted to set up tents on the camp site, but parts of the site may be damp. The space can only be booked by groups such as school classes or scout groups. The space can be used on a first-come, first-served basis when no bookings have been made. Move together so there is room for more.

On the site there is drinking water (in the summer), a toilet, a fire pit and a set of tables and benches. We strive to have firewood, but this cannot be guaranteed. Use the firewood with care so that there is also for the next ones. Put out the fire thoroughly after you. Help keep the site neat and clean and always take your rubbish with you. Not far from the camp site is Kærene - one of Denmark's largest and most untouched areas of care. The Nature Agency's areas are grazed with Galloway cattle, which do what they can to keep the areas open to light.
