Madpakkehus i Agerbæk skov

In a small forest near the stadium and tennis courts in Agerbæk, there is an area with a small lake, a picnic house, and overnight accommodation options. In 2021, Agerbæk Udvikling built a shelter site with picnic tables, a campfire site, and two log shelters that can accommodate 6-8 people. There is access to water and toilets by the tennis courts. Bring your own firewood or charcoal and take your trash home. The area is open to all and does not require booking.

There are also MTB trails and good paths around the lake and throughout the forest. The site is recognized as a local gem in Varde Municipality. The forest has a long history; for example, during World War II, the Germans used it to train soldiers in camouflaging their vehicles, and the holes from those times can still be seen.
