Shelterplads i Larsens Skov, Årre

In a small forest close to the stadium and Årre Children's Center, there is an area with a packed lunch house and space with overnight accommodations in two new shelters. The small shelter "Ask" is designed for approx. 4 people and the large shelter "Birk" has space for 6-8 people. At the shelter site there is a campfire site with a barbecue arrangement and a table and bench set. There is access to water and a multi-purpose toilet in the forest behind the packed lunch house. There is limited firewood available at the campfire site, it is recommended to bring your own firewood or charcoal. There are no waste containers on the site, so all waste must be taken from the site.

You can and are not allowed to drive motor vehicles in the forest. However, there are parking spaces at Årre Children's Center approx. 600 m from the site. You can stop on the road in front of the forest and unload the things you need in connection with your overnight stay in the shelters, and from here there is a very short path that leads directly to the shelter site.
